<p>An authentication device in which storage capacity can be reduced without sacrificing of authentication accuracy. The authentication device has an extraction means for extracting points on a to-be-authenticated object inherent to a living body, the points being obtained from an image obtained by imaging the object; a connection means for connecting the points extracted by the extraction means; a storage means for storing, as authentication information, information representing statuses of the connections between the points connected by the connection means and information representing each of the points; and a reconstruction means for reconstructing the object as one object to be checked based on the authentication information stored in the storage means.</p> |
