It is possible to reduce a load applied to a slider and a flexure when bonding electrodes in a magnetic head manufacturing process. A conductive material ball contained in a core in contact with each of two electrodes arranged on the slider and flexure is arranged between the two electrodes and the conductive material layer of the conductive material ball is melted and hardened, thereby forming a conductive route by the electrode, the core, the electrode, and the hardened conductive material arranged between them, and fixing the slider at a predetermined position on the flexure by the conductive route.
