The present invention comprises an installation, a method and a paper pulp bale thus produced by the intermediary of the method which is adapted to seal and/or secure an envelope (8), formed from one single envelope sheet (8') about a compressed set ("S2a") of pulp sheets or the like. In particular, it is disclosed that a single envelope sheet (8') be given a width corresponding to a selected length of an edge or side of the set ("S2a") and be given a length in order, on the one hand, wholly to surround said set ("S2a") and, on the other hand, in addition to permit the diverging end regions (8 a, 8b) of the sheet to overlap one another. Within said overlapping end regions (8a, 8b), one or more flaps (18a, 18b) are formed. The flaps are brought by means (30) to a coordination in order to seal and/or secure the flaps to one another. |
