A compound of formula (I) is described wherein: R1 is 1-4C-alkoxy, A is 1-4C-alkylene, B represents 3H-imidazo [4,5-b] pyridin-2-yl, substituted 3H-imidazo [4,5-b] pyridin-2-yl, 9H-purin-8-yl or substituted 9H-purin-8-yl. Pharmaceutical compositions comprising the compounds are useful for the treatment of acute inflammatory diseases, chronic inflammatory disease of peripheral organs and the CNS, sepsis, lung inflammatory diseases, heart disorders, septic shock, and haemorrhagic shock.
