The assembly has two cosmetic or care product packaging devices (6, 11), each comprising a cosmetic or care product container disposed in a non-removable manner in a coupling unit (2). Lateral discontinuities (28, 33) of surfaces of the containers (10, 5) respectively cooperate with pins (25, 31) of the containers (5, 10) to limit their axial clearances (27) in their respective housings (7, 12). The assembly has two axial ends (80, 81) along a longitudinal axis configured in such a way that it does not rest in a stable manner on a plane surface, via either of the ends.
