A rolling bearing device has an outer member (10) having, on its inner periphery side, outer raceway surfaces (11, 12); an inner member (20) having, on its outer periphery side, inner raceway surfaces (21, 22) that face the outer raceway surfaces (11, 12) and including a shaft body (3) of the bearing device; rolling bodies (4) arranged between the inner raceway surfaces (21, 22) and the opposing outer raceway surfaces (11, 12); a flange (5) for wheel installation, provided on the outer periphery side of the outer member (10); and a brake rotor (7) installed on the outer periphery side of the outer member (10), the brake rotor (7) being installed without having the wheel installation flange (5) installed between the brake rotor (7) and the outer member (10) and being installed so as to be movable in an axially predetermined range relative to the outer member (10) but not to be movable in the circumferential direction. The construction enables production cost of the device to be reduced while achieving unitization of the device and also enables brake judder to be effectively reduced. |
