The invention relates to a motor vehicle door lock, which is equipped with a locking mechanism (1, 2), an anti-theft drive (5), a locking drive (10), in addition to an opening device for the motorised opening of the locking mechanism (1, 2). The anti-theft drive (5) and/or the locking drive (10) act on the opening device for the locking mechanism (1, 2) or form part of the same. According to the invention, the anti-theft mechanism (5, 6) and the locking mechanism (9, 10) are mechanically and/or electrically coupled in such a way that an unlocking operation implies a release of the anti-theft drive and the application of said drive implies a locking operation, the same drives (5, 10) being used in both cases. |
