<p>A PDP capable of efficiently reducing reactive power and cross talk and having its display characteristics not significantly affected by mis-alignment, wherein fragments (41, 42) are formed in a position in a display electrode (12) crossing a main partition (241) on a discharge gap side. The opening width of each fragment (41, 42) is set to be larger than the width of the main partition (241), with the width gradually becoming smaller toward its depth direction until it is smaller at the bottom of each fragment (41, 42) than the width of the main partition (241). That is, the edge inclined portions (41a) and (41b) of the fragment (41) are inclined so as to approach each other in its depth direction.</p> |
