<p>Disclosed is a striker assembly to be engaged by a door lock. The assembly includes a base (11) to be fixed to a door jamb and having elongated base apertures (14) enabling generally vertical adjustment relative to the jamb, a striker member (15) fixed to the base but adjustable relative thereto in a generally horizontal direction, and to be engaged by a tongue of the lock, and wherein the base includes a central portion (12) with opposite ends with a projection (13) at each end, the member being located between the projections and adapted for movement therebetween and relative to the base.</p> |
