The invention relates to a projector loader comprising: a service bulb (1) which is mounted on a service flap (3) that is pivot actuated (29) by a control means (7, 23), such that the service bulb can be pivoted from a service position to a rest position; and a replacement bulb (9) which pivots from a standby position to the service position. According to the invention, the replacement bulb (9) is mounted on a replacement flap (11), said two flaps (3, 11) being pivot actuated around two perpendicularly-disposed axles (13, 15). The invention also comprises timer means (17, 19, 27) which ensure that the pivoting movement of the replacement flap (11) is delayed in relation to that of the service flap (3).
