<p>A VHF band receiver capable of providing a high flexibility of mounting an antenna, facilitating the reduction in size and improving the sensitivity. An FM receiver (100) comprises a tuner circuit for selectively passing signals, which have a tuning frequency and frequencies close thereto, of received signals; a local oscillator circuit (13) for generating a local oscillation signal; and a mixer circuit (12) for frequency mixing the local oscillation signal generated by the local oscillator circuit (13) with the high-frequency signals obtained by the tuning operation of the tuner circuit. The tuner circuit includes two antenna coils (1,9) wound around respective separate magnetic cores and is set to tuning frequencies of VHF band.</p> |
