NOVEL MAP KINASE KINASE KINASE (MAPKKK)

摘要

It is intended to provide a novel MAPKKK in humans and mouse. It is also intended to provide a preventive/remedy having an improved safety and an elevated efficacy for an apoptosis-associated disease by inhibiting the novel MAPKKK in humans or mouse. Namely, a novel protein originating in humans or mouse which serves as MAPKKK is provided. Further, it is indicated that the JNK/p38 signal transduction pathway is inhibited or promoted and thus apoptosis can be promoted or suppressed in an apoptosis-associated diseases by inhibiting or promoting the kinase activity of the above protein. Thus, the disease can be treated/prevented thereby. Consequently, a medicinal composition containing an agent capable of inhibiting or promoting the kinase activity of the above-described novel protein is provided.
