<p>A sewerage system having a means for rapidly sterilizing a rain water-mixed sewage and pollutant-mixed rain water released without passing a sewage-treatment plant in large amount rail fall before being released into a public water area, and a method and a device for sterilizing the rain water-mixed sewage and the pollutant-mixed rain water. In one embodiment of this invention, when the sewage containing a rain water of an amount exceeding the treatment capacity of the sewage-treatment plant flows into the sewage-treatment plant or may flow therein due to the large amount of rain fall, the rain water-mixed sewage of an amount exceeding the treatment amount of the sewage-treatment plant is branched in a sewerage facility for excluding overflow of sewage in rain fall and, after being sterilized with a bromine-based sterilizer, released into the public water area.</p> |
