The invention concerns a method and a device for improving the diffusion of single-scent or multiple-scent smells so as to provide better perception of same. The method is applicable to any device known in prior art as long as the latter is provided with capacity for controlling the intensity of diffusion of odorant molecules. Said control is carried by controlling the air flow rate carrying the odorant molecules.
