The trolley has an insulating envelop (5) delimiting an enclosure. The enclosure has a cool compartment (10) and a hot/cool mixed compartment (11). The enclosure has a support unit (9) for meal trays (2) in a superposed position. Heating plates (20) assure a support function of the meal trays. A reservoir (30) is movable to occupy a simultaneous cooling position of the two compartments and a cooling position of the cool compartment.
