PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform printing on a printing surface of a disk so that the printing does not protrude from the printing surface of the disk by detecting the inner diameter and the outer diameter of the printing surface of the disk manufactured to be printed. SOLUTION: The carried disk is irradiated with a laser beam to detect the printing surface of the disk by detecting an absence of a transmitted light of the laser beam or a presence of a reflected light of the laser beam, and the printing is performed on the printing surface of the disk based on the detected result.
