PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a contact fault by the generation of the projection or the warp of a porous anode and to inhibit an ESR fault. SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing the electronic capacitor includes the steps of preparing a niobium foil 15 in which recesses 16 and 16 are formed beforehand in both sides, and rubbing and filling up with a niobium paste containing niobium powder in the recess 16. The method also includes the steps of vacuum sintering this niobium paste, forming niobium porous material 17 in the recesses 16 and 16, then performing an anodization, and manufacturing the porous anode 8. The method also includes the steps of oppositely arranging the porous anode 8 and activated carbon layer 9 formed on a collector 3 separately at a separator 11 to both surface sides of this porous anode 8; manufacturing a cell 2 by hermetically sealing the porous anode 8, the activated carbon layer 9, and the separator 11 by the collector 3 and a gasket 12 in the state that a sulfuric acid is sealed as an electrolyte; and holding this cell 2 so as to be brought into pressure contact with the collector 3 by an anode plate 4 from the exterior.
