PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch pressing mechanism with a waterproof housing which has a simple structure allowing exactly and selectively operating a plurality of buttons collectively arranged on a device. SOLUTION: The switch pressing mechanism for a waterproof housing is equipped with a pressing button 21 displaceable in the axial direction, a pressing dial 22 coaxially supporting the pressing button 21 displaceable in the axial direction and rotatable about the axis, a pressing member 45 and a pressing rubber 46 arranged at the eccentrical position of the tip of the pressing dial 22, a coil spring 33 and an O-ring 35 arranged between the pressing dial 22 and the pressing button 21, a coil spring 42 and an O-ring 44 arranged between the rear case 3 of the waterproof housing and the pressing dial 22, a leaf spring 38 to urge the pressing button 21 so as to hold it at a certain position, and positioning recesses 23b, 23c, 23d, 23e formed on the rear case 3 and a projection 22a formed on the pressing dial 22.
