PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pachinko machine having a game temporarily stopping function. SOLUTION: In the pachinko machine permitting the adjustment of launching strength of a game ball by varying digital data, a launch stopping switch 49 permitting a player to temporarily stop a game while retaining launch strength and release a temporarily stopped condition at his will and to release the temporarily stopped condition at his will and resume the game at the launch strength retained. The launch stopping switch 49 can switch between a temporarily stopped condition and a temporarily stop releasing condition by being pressed once. When the player leaves the pachinko machine after the pachinko machine is set in the temporarily stopped condition, the elapse of a prescribed period set in advance forcibly initializes the temporarily stopped condition.
