PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide shelf fitting devices of shelf apparatus capable of preventing unsteadiness and coming off of shelf boards from shelf brackets so as to stably retain the shelf boards. SOLUTION: Sliding grooves 14d are formed in front and rear lateral faces inside a recessed groove part 14a of a receiving member 14 provided on a lower face of the shelf body 7. A pair of sliding projections 13a of an engaging member 13 is fitted to the sliding grooves 14d so that the engaging member 13 precisely slides in a right and left direction without inclining. At this time, an upper face of the engaging member 13 is fitted to a lower face of the shelf bracket 10 so that the shelf bracket 10 is retained by the shelf board 7 and the engaging member 13 inside the recessed groove part 14a so as to stably retain the shelf board 7 without unsteadiness.
