<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a water pitcher which can be stored in a vegetable room in a domestic refrigerator having an allowance in capacity, and can be formed in a relatively large size so as to manage an amount of domestic consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The water pitcher consists of a container main body 1 both side faces of which are formed into flat faces (a) and a lid 2 on the outer periphery of the lower edge of which a packing 3 is fitted and which is brought into hermetical contact with the mouth edge of the container main body. A pouring opening 4 is provided on one end of the lid, and the upper face of the lid is equipped with a press lid 5 for opening and closing this pouring opening. A pair of clamp levers 6 on both sides base parts of which are hinged on both sides of the lid are hooked on projecting edges 8 installed on the upper end of the container main body to bring the lid and the container main body into hermetical contact with each other. A handle 9 formed into a U-shape is fitted on a bearing part 10 provided on the inside of a fitting position of the clamp lever, and is always fitted in a storing part 11 of the peripheral edge part of the lid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
