<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trough capable of adjusting a length to be shortened by cutting a trough body and a cover, and fit-connecting the other trough body with the cover, for example, even if female portions are needed to be connected with each other. <P>SOLUTION: This trough is constituted of the trough body which has right and left side walls and a bottom wall and of which the upper portion is open, and a cover which covers the opening of the trough body. The trough bodies are connected with each other and the covers are connected with each other in the longitudinal direction to be extended. A male portion with the projection formed is formed at the outer surface of a side wall of one edge of the trough body, and female portions with receiving portions formed so that the male portion may be engaged are formed at the outer surface of the side wall of the other edge of the trough.
