<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an output from dropping due to the delayed phase of an AC control voltage in an output controller for a generator which controls an output by applying an AC control voltage to the armature winding of an AC generator through an inverter circuit from a battery. <P>SOLUTION: An output given to the battery 4 is controlled by applying an AC control voltage to the armature winding of the generator 1 through the inverter circuit 3B from the battery 4, and changing the phase of the AC control voltage. A phase detector 13 is provided to detect the phase of a phase current passing through the armature winding of the generator as the maximum output current phase. This controls the phase of the AC control voltage so as not to be behind the maximum output current phase, thus preventing an output of the generator from dropping as a result of the AC control voltage being in an excessively delayed angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
