摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharging pressure variable type turbocharger retaining excellently for a long period the supercharging pressure changing function of the turbocharger by suppressing accumulation of foreign matter contained in exhaust gas between the wall surface of a gas passage and a nozzle vane opposed thereto. <P>SOLUTION: The annular gas passage 15 is formed along the inner periphery of a scroll passage in the turbine housing 12 of the supercharging pressure variable type turbocharger. Two or more nozzle vanes 20 adjusting the passage sectional area of the gas passage 15 and a nozzle ring 16 supporting rotatably the nozzle vanes 20 and forming the gas passage 15 together with the turbine housing 12, are provided in the turbine housing 12. The nozzle vanes 20 are provided with protrusions 21 on an opposite surface 22 arranged oppositely to the wall surface 12a of the turbine housing 12 and an opposite surface 26 arranged oppositely to the wall surface 16a of the nozzle ring 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
