PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating a fluid, in which the fluid is treated at a low cost by using an inexpensive far-infrared ray irradiating member having high far-infrared ray irradiation density and further utilizing the synergistic effect of magnetic force and far-infrared rays of the far-infrared irradiating member and which has high throughput capacity. SOLUTION: This apparatus for treating the fluid is provided with: a fluid treatment tank 1 having a fluid treatment part therein; a fluid pump 2 for transferring the fluid; and a fluid circulating pipeline 3 for connecting the fluid treatment tank to the fluid pump so that the fluid is made to flow through the fluid treatment part from the fluid pump and returned again to the fluid pump. The fluid treatment part comprises (A) a group of useful microbes containing a group of lactobacteriaceae each being an anaerobic bacterium, a group of yeasts and a group of photosynthesis bacteria at the least and/or ceramics obtained by kneading/firing a substance produced from the group of useful microbes and (B) a magnetic material.
