CONTAINER TAKING-OUT AND FEEDING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container taking-out and feeding apparatus capable of arranging a container for an article on a conveying unit of a conveyor while continuously traveling the conveyor at a constant speed without stopping the conveyor. SOLUTION: The conveying unit 12 of the conveyor continuously travels at a constant speed. A container feeding unit 40 has a movable base 41 reciprocated in the conveying direction of the conveyor and the direction opposite thereto and feed members 42 and 43 which are supported by the movable base and has taking-out members 42A and 43A to take out the container from a magazine. The movable base 41 is stopped when taking out the container from the magazine, and moved in the same direction at the same speed when the container is arranged at the conveying unit. The feed members 42 and 43 take out the container D from the magazines 44 and 45, and are turnable so as to maintain an opening of the container downward, and movable with respect to the movable base 41 so as to cover and arrange the container for an article M on the conveying unit. After the container is arranged on the conveying unit 12, the movable base 41 and the feed members 42 and 43 are returned to the container taking-out position from the magazines 44 and 45.
