<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for optimizing response property of a supercharger in accordance with operation situation of an internal combustion engine and improving acceleration performance. <P>SOLUTION: In this internal combustion engine with the supercharger provided with a turbine provided in an exhaust passage and rotated and driven by exhaust gas, the supercharger having a compressor rotated by rotation of the turbine to supercharge intake air, and an exhaust gas pressure adjusting means for adjusting exhaust gas pressure on the upstream side of the turbine, the exhaust gas pressure adjusting means minimizes exhaust gas pressure on the upstream side of the turbine when accelerating and then adjusts exhaust gas pressure in accordance with difference between pressure of an intake pipe and atmospheric pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
