PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspicious visitor warning system with an enhanced warning effect for a suspicious visitor to a housing complex. SOLUTION: The suspicious visitor warning system comprises: a surveillance camera which is disposed at a common entrance of a housing complex, and photographs a visitor who enters the housing complex through the common entrance; an image detection means which captures and detects a face image of the visitor from a photography signal by the surveillance camera; a face authentication means which determines whether the visitor is a resident of the housing complex or not based on an image database which stores face images and the number of visitors from the image detection means, a residents' database in which face images, etc. of the residents of the housing complex are registered beforehand, the face images of the visitors of the image database, and the face images of the residents of the residents' database; a number of persons determination means which determines whether the number of visitors is equal to the number of authorized visitors; and a monitor disposed so as to be visible to visitors which, when determination is made that there is a suspicious visitor among the visitors based on the determination result by the face authentication means and the number of persons determination means, displays the face image of the suspicious visitor.
