PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storing device for umbrella bags which has a simple structure, is inexpensive, requires no power supply, is easy to handle and is superior in operability. SOLUTION: A storing section 2 for a stack of umbrella bags 21 is formed at one side of a box 1, and an opening mechanism 3 for an insertion inlet 22 is so formed at the other side of the box 1 as to be on the top of an umbrella bag 21 at the forefront in the storing section 2. The opening mechanism 3 comprises a cord winding mechanism 4 which has a foot pedal 8 arranged on the lower part of the box 1 and serving as a driving source, an opening mechanism unit 3 which is arranged above the cord winding mechanism 4 to be counter to the storing section 2 for the umbrellas bags 21 and pivotally supports an opening operating piece 34 having a front end locking nail 33 to the insertion inlet 22 formed on the top of the umbrella bag 21 at the forefront, and a cord 5 which is stretched between the cord winding mechanism 4 and the opening mechanism unit 3.
