The invention discloses a computerized financial system comprising financial instruments or templates for financial instruments in which the instruments/templates have attributes which define them, the instruments/templates being configured in a hierarchic multi-level structure based on the attributes so that an instrument/template on a first level in the hierarchy is defined by at least one attribute common in the instruments/templates on the second level. An amendment to an attribute in an instrument/template may cause the same amendment in the same attribute of those instruments/templates which are linked to the amended instrument/template and which are on lower levels in the hierarchy. Each instrument/template is only allowed a link to one instrument/template above it. |
