<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-like lid material for a cupped container which exerts a superior retaining force without impairing a sanitary function upon resealing the container. <P>SOLUTION: The lid material is heat-sealed on the opening edge of the cupped container to seal up the cupped container, and has an unsealing tab which projects further outside than the outer edge of the opening edge. The lid material has a laminated structure including at least a shading paper layer, an intermediate layer, and a sealant layer. On the surface of the lid material, a first half-cut line, which penetrates the shading paper layer but does not penetrate the intermediate layer, is formed to extend bulgingly from a position almost coinciding that of the outer edge of the opening edge at the unsealing tab across the inner edge of the opening edge toward the center of the lid material. On the back surface of the lid material, a second half-cut line, which penetrates the sealant layer but does not penetrate the intermediate layer, is formed to extend bulgingly from a position almost coinciding that of the outer edge of the opening edge at the unsealing tab across the inner edge of the opening edge toward the center of the lid material in such a way that the second half-cut line extends in close proximity to and along the first half-cut line while being prevented from overlapping it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
