<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new polished rice having superior nutritive values like milled rice with embryo though it is polished rice with increased taste, without using food additives, using only rice components. <P>SOLUTION: Unpolished rice is subjected to a primary polishing (10-50% polishing), then the primary polished rice and primary polished bran are mixed (10-40 h) without separating, and is subjected to a secondary polishing to obtain polished rice (white rice).
