<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply unit for a two-power supply type vehicle which increases the electric power supply capability of high-voltage power supply by reverse direction power transmission, while suppressing deterioration in low-voltage power supply and lowering of efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: When a feed surplus of an accessory battery 3 is larger than the feed deficient amount of a high-voltage power supply system, the power supply unit for the two-power supply type vehicle solves the problem causing a bidirectional DC-DC converter 7 to make the feed deficient amount transmitted in a direction reverse from the accessory battery 3. Moreover, in this case, since only the electrical energy obtained by the feed deficiency which is the difference between the possible feed amount of a main battery 1 and the required feed amount of a high-voltage electrical load is transmitted in the reverse direction, deterioration of the service lives of the low-voltage power supply and the high-voltage power supply caused by excessive reverse power transmission is suppressed, and the lowering in fuel consumption by wasteful reverse power transmission is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
