<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic control system excellent in response by suppressing the increase of a load even when the occurrence of an event is increased. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic control system generates a direct JOB queue in a central management system 11, based on the occurrence of the event in one of a plurality of distributed systems, stores the queue, and starts the distributed system at a side to be controlled corresponding to the event, based on the direct JOB queue. A state change record queue is generated whenever the event occurs in the distributed system, so as to be stored. A state change record to be unnecessary with the passage of time is erased from the state change record queues.
