PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder which realizes protection of a content by realizing association of the content with a license easily without restricting the degree of freedom in content utilization by a user. SOLUTION: In the recorder 10A which can record the content to which protection of copyrights is required and the license for utilizing the content, in the case of moving the license recorded in a storage device 20A, information for identifying a movement-destination storage device 20B of the license and information for identifying the movement-source storage device 20A are outputted to the movement-source storage device 20A of the license and the movement-destination storage device 20B to share information about movement of the license.
