PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor system which provides a user with usability. SOLUTION: A human body detection sensor 5 and a brightness detection sensor 6 are installed in one end of an installed circuit board 4 so that their detection directions are outwardly perpendicular to an end face of the one end of the installed circuit board 4 and their light receiving surfaces are nearly flush with each other. The installed circuit board 4 is housed in a body 1 so that the other end is placed on the body 1 and it stands straight so that external output terminals 7 protrude outwardly through insertion holes 11 which are formed on the bottom of the body 1 and each of which corresponds to each external output terminal 7. A sensor section comprising the sensors 5, 6 is placed on the opening-side of the body 1 to allow the light receiving surfaces of the sensors 5, 6 to face the outside of the body 1 through the opening.
