PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden required for setting of a logic path between a connection part of a controller connected to an external storage controller and a storage device equipped by a control part thereof. SOLUTION: In this device, the controller 4A has a plurality of storage devices 1A, a first connection part 92B connected to a host device, and a second connection part 92A connected to the external storage controller 4B. The plurality of storage devices include a storage device associated to an external storage device 4A. The device has: a first specification part 800 specifying a host access external storage device accessed by the host device from the plurality of external storage devices; a second specification part 800 specifying a mapping storage device associated to the specified host access external storage device from the plurality of storage devices; and a logic path generation part generating the logic path between the specified mapping storage device and the first connection part.
