PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fiber membrane type separation membrane capable of easily concentrating a protein aqueous solution, and a method of manufacturing and using the same. SOLUTION: The sieving coefficient to 10,000 weight-average molecular weight dextran is not more than 0.4 in the hollow fiber membrane type separation membrane for the protein and/or peptide analysis pretreatment.
