<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling embedded type air conditioner with an inexpensive vertical movement driver with a simple structure for a suction grille. <P>SOLUTION: In the ceiling embedded type air conditioner, a unit body having a heat exchanger and a blower is embedded in a ceiling, and a decorative panel having the suction grille is provided at a lower part of the unit body. It is provided with a main pulley provided on the decorative panel and turned in normal and reverse directions, a first auxiliary pulley provided on the suction grille, a second auxiliary pulley provided on the decorative panel, and one suspension cord having one end wound on a rotating drum and the other end fixed to the decorative panel via the first and second pulleys, and supporting the suction grille such that it can freely move up and down. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
