PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the pressure reducing speed constantly regardless of the presence of pulse waves.
SOLUTION: Pressure is rapidly increased to a prescribed pressure value from the start of measurement, and after that, the rapid pressurization is shifted to slow pressurization. Then, the cuff pressure P(n) is measured by sample from a base point P(0) with a point after the elapse of prescribed time or after prescribed pressure increase as the base point to find the pressurization speed dP/dt(n) from the pressure difference dP(n) between the pressure value at the base point and the pressure value at the measurement point and the time difference T(n) from the base point to the measurement point. A prescribed number of values of the computed pressurization speed are stored together with corresponding pressure value data every sampling of the cuff pressure, and the smallest value of the pressurization speed in a prescribed section is extracted from the oldest data in the stored section and the smallest value of the pressurization speed in the prescribed section is extracted from the latest data in the stored section to find the average pressurization speed from the pressure value and the time difference corresponding to the data on these two points. A pressurization means is feedback-controlled so that the slow pressurization speed becomes a prescribed target pressurization speed based on the difference between the computed average pressurization speed and the target pressurization speed.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
