METHOD OF MANUFACTURING INKJET RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an inkjet recording medium, which is high in quality, can efficiently and stably be applied at a high speed hardly causing coating failure such as liquid splashing, flake-like unevenness or crack without causing the problem such as coagulation or deposition in the method of obtaining the inkjet recording medium by applying a layer containing an additive (referred to as a functional layer hereafter) on a substrate having a coating layer.

SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the inkjet recording medium by conveying an object to be coated and applying an overcoat layer by a spray coating device is characterized in that the displacement of the position of the object in an overcoat layer coating part is defined as ≤0.5% of a coating width in uncoating time and coating time.
