<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular discharge lamp lighting device with heat radiation effect without sacrificing reduction of thickness. <P>SOLUTION: Semiconductor parts 14 and large-sized parts 15 are mounted on a surface of the opposite side of lighting part side out of the front and back surface of a mounting base board. The distance between the semiconductor parts 14 and a case body 11 is shortened by reducing the thickness of a hollow part in which, the semiconductor parts are arranged, and a heat radiation fin 12 is arranged at the outside of a case body 11. The size of the heat radiation fin 12 can be enlarged to the extent of the difference of the thickness between the hollow part in which the large parts 15 are arranged and that for the semiconductor parts, and the hear from the semiconductor parts can be effectively radiated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
