<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition simply and effectively mitigating whole physical and mental symptoms related to menstruation irrespective of a period before and after menarche. <P>SOLUTION: The composition comprising an extract from Zingiber officinale Roscoe and an extract from Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer known as Chinese crude drugs in addition to oil of Oenothera tetraptera Cav. and soybean isoflavone used in the West is administered to thereby effectively mitigate the whole symptoms related to the menstruation including physical symptoms such as abdominal pain, lumbago, headache and swelling of the breast and mental symptoms such as an irritable feeling.
