<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antacid composition maintaining stomach pH in a weakly acidic state and has a long duration. <P>SOLUTION: The antacid composition comprises a magnesium based antacid and a precipitated calcium carbonate. The antacid composition comprises an antacid free from aluminum and sodium, and is characteristic in keeping the stomach pH in the weakly acidic state and having a long duration. The antacid composition is free from aluminum and sodium therefore there are no necessity of worrying about neurological toxin of aluminum and redundant ingestion of sodium, the composition is safety and is an excellent stomach medicine expressing an excellent treating effect on gastritis, gastric ulcer or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
