<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell enhancing durability against oxidation reaction. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell 1 is equipped with catalyst layers 4, 5 formed by supporting a catalyst in a supporter on both sides of an electrolyte membrane, gas diffusion layers 6, 7 having a proton conducting function adjoined to the catalyst layers 4, 5, and corrosion parts 21, 22 adjoined to the gas diffusion layers 6, 7.
