<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor traction controller for a vehicle which makes compatible both the prevention of hunting on a low-μ road and the prevention of vibration on a high-μ road when controllihg the motor traction is controlled. <P>SOLUTION: The motor traction controller for the vehicle includes at least one motor installed at a power source which drives driving wheels, and a motor traction control means which detects drive slips of the driving wheels and recovers a grips of the driving wheels by motor torque down control. In the controller, an estimating means of an equivalent value to the friction coefficient of a road surface which estimates the equivalent value is provided, wherein, when the motor traction is controlled, the motor traction control means makes a phase lag of a motor torque command value lesser to a calculated motor torque limit value when the equivalent value to the friction coefficient of the road surface is at a lower friction coefficient side, while the motor traction control means makes the phase lag of the motor torque command value larger with respect to a calculated motor torque limit value when the equivalent value for the friction coefficient of the road surface is on a higher friction coefficient side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
