<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting device and an illumination system using the same capable of restraining troubles at false input/output connection. <P>SOLUTION: A direct current power source circuit 302 generating direct current voltage based on power source voltage received at a terminal board 33, an inverter circuit 303 generating periodic voltage having periodicity for discharge lamp lighting by chopping direct current voltage generated by the direct current power source circuit 302, a terminal board 32 for supplying the periodic voltage generated by the inverter circuit 303 to a discharge lamp FL outside, an inverter control part 308 controlling movements of the inverter circuit 303, a power source control part 309 generating operation voltage of the inverter control part 308 based on direct current voltage generated by the direct current source circuit 302, and a diode D8 inhibiting the power source voltage from being supplied to the control power source part 309 are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
