<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle power source device having a short air introduction passage to introduce air to cool battery cells and small air distribution resistance. <P>SOLUTION: A battery pack 10 is installed at the position adjacent to a cabin across a cover panel 16 under a seat, and air to cool the battery pack 10 is introduced from a slit formed in the cover panel under the seat. In this configuration, an air introduction passage (the slit 96, an air intake chamber 92, an opening 94, an air introduction duct 34, a gas flow-in chamber 32) is reduced in length, and the distribution resistance of air to cool the battery pack 10 is reduced. Therefore, the sufficient cooling effect of the battery pack 10 can be obtained.
