<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing apparatus for a bag-making, packaging and filling machine which easily adjusts a clearance between a pair of heater rolls to afford reproducibility. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing apparatus 10 is equipped with a pair of facing heater rolls 11A and 11B, which have sealing parts 111 for pinching and heat-sealing a packaging film, and reference shafts 112 smaller in diameter than the sealing parts 111, respectively. Reference gauges 20 are inserted between respective reference shafts 112 and 112 so that a zero clearance value can be set. An air pressure cylinder 13 is connected to the heater roll 11B, and a differential gear mechanism 14 is connected to the air pressure cylinder 13. The air pressure cylinder 13 is made to press the heater roll 11B to set the zero clearance value, and then the differential gear mechanism 14 is operated to cause the heater roller 11B to move slightly to approach the heater roller 11A in adjusting the clearance between the heater rollers 11A and 11B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
