PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system for accurately determining passage estimation through intersections and conducting the next guidance. SOLUTION: The navigation system includes both a vehicle angle determining means for determining the angle of a vehicle, the angle of the vehicle in cross directions to a recommended exit road, as a recommended route for the vehicle to exit an intersection to be guided in the case that the vehicle traveling in accordance with the recommended route has entered a prescribed distance from the intersection to be guided and a route guidance means for determining that the vehicle has passed through the intersection, to be guided in the case that the angle of the vehicle to the recommended exit road lies within a prescribed angle and turning guidance, following the intersection to be guided into a state ready to start. The prescribed angle is determined, on the basis of an angle of a prescribed ratio between the recommended exit road and a road which is adjacent to the recommended exit road and from which the vehicle can exit from the intersection to be guided or an approach road, through which the vehicle has entered the intersection to be guided.
